What is it?
A UAN additive that can be used beside the row or in sidedress, Y-Drop or topdress applications.
Why use it?
→ Sulfur
- Sulfur maximizes nitrogen use efficiency.
- It reduces N loss from leaching, volatilization and denitrification.→ Humic Acid
- Effective at buffering other nutrients with strong electronegativity, (Ex: Magnesium) while increasing theuptake of potassium included in the formulation
- Improved soil structure and pore space in the band of application→ Potassium in the most readily available form
- Potassium Acetate requires only 23.3% soil humidity to remain soluble, ready for plant uptake. Incomparison, Potassium Chloride (0-0-60) requires 85% soil humidity to remain soluble.
- Both corn and wheat require large amounts of potassium uptake during the vegetative stages of growth when much of soil resident K is tied up due to dry soil conditions
